18/366 - Daddy Does Story Time

Ever since the girls were interested in books we have had the same routine: bath time followed by story time and then teeth and bed.  We usually all cuddle up on the sofa and the girls pick a handful of stories they want. We read for about half hour and its a lovely time of the day.

Tonight I was feeling tired and cold so decided to have  an early bath and let Daddy do story time. I then came down to sort Rosie out and put her to bed while Poppy had 1 more story. This is what I came downstairs too:

Okay so I could probably have done with a bit of photo editing first but never mind. Poppy is giving me an Eskimo kiss...very cute. She really is a sweetie pie, even if sometimes she is a little madam!

Poppy loves splashing in puddles! As soon as she sees its been raining, she cant wait to get her wellies on and find some puddles to jump in. I love this picture because I actually managed to catch her with her feet off the ground and a smile on her face.

14/366 - Fun At Pizza Hut

As the title suggests we went to Pizza Hut today. Rosie had great fun sucking all the topping off and leaving the crusts as well as eating salad and bread sticks too.

13/366 - An Exciting Announcement

Yes this really does mean what you think! I am almost 13 weeks pregnant with baby number 3! Not the best picture in the world but I wanted to add it to my photo a day project.

This is also the real reason why I have been so quiet on my blog recently. I have wanted to shout about it but felt I ought to keep quiet until I knew all was okay.

So far so good. I have had a scan and blood test and everything seems normal/ low risk. I am feeling great too, no sickness just a little tired..... I guess I had better get used to that with three under five.

I am really looking forward to recording everything about this pregnancy so fingers crossed it all goes well.

10/366 - A Special Relationship

Poppy and her Gramps have a very special relationship. This was them on Sunday when Poppy decided to try on his cap.  I think you can tell they are related and they both look very happy together.

I decided to play around with this picture and experiment with photo editing. I quite like the way it has turned out.

6/366 - Respect

Husband has always loved photography and loves taking photos. Recently he brought a very old Canon film camera and began taking and developing his own black and white photos. He is loving this hobby and has actually taken some beautiful shots. I love this one of my little Nephew William looking up at his Cousin Poppy. Such a gorgeous photo. She is oblivious to the way he is looking at her, totally engaged with watching cartoons.

I will have to do a post on his new hobby, gear and profile some of the pictures. They really are quite good.

5/366 - My Sister and Her boys

I am loving having my Sister and two little Nephews staying.  We don't see them nearly often enough because we live so far away, so its been extra special.  The children are all behaving themselves. Poppy and William are sharing a room and have been really good and they all play together really nicely.

I have not had much time to blog as we have all been busy but am enjoying posting a photo everyday.

4/366 - Enjoying A Cuddle

We are all loving having my Sister and her two little ones to stay. Even Husband enjoyed a lovely cuddle today giving my Sister a bit of hands free time. I think he quite likes having a little one around again and secretly would quite like a little boy.

I am loving the challenge of posting a photo everyday and will take lots more of us all together this week.

Today my Sister arrived with her two little boys and they are staying until the weekend. Its lovely to have them here and Poppy was very excited to share her room tonight with her Cousin. I thought they looked really cute in this picture so had to share it.

2/366 - Modelling hats

Last year I noticed lots of blogs who published a photo every day. I loved seeing them and have decided to set myself this target this year too.

The Christmas tree is now down and Poppy was very sad to see it go, she starts back at Preschool this week but I just wanted to post this photo to remind me of the fun we had seeing relatives:
