Pretty Little Things - Footwear

Now I love shoes but I managed to resist all the gorgeous little baby ones and keep my little girls bare foot until they were able to walk properly. Apparently this is best!

Little Rosie didn't get her first pair until she was around 15 months.  She was able to walk long before this. I  just could not find the perfect pair so had to limit her to walking inside.

Eventually I did find some and I was really pleased with them:

These are not just any shoes. They are barefeet ones.  by Livie and Luca. Not only are they gorgeous, light, soft and flexible, they are also the next best thing to having bare feet!

As you can see Rosie loved them and couldn't wait to get and play:

Since then we have gone on to buy more for both girls:

They are totally gorgeous and the girls love them. They come in a range of bright funky colours so look good as well as being better for their feet. Everyone we sees comments on how pretty they are!

Pretty New Shoes

The girls new shoes have arrived and I am so excited I wanted to share them with you. I must point out that this is in no way a sponsored post, we brought these shoes with our own money but love them.

These are barefoot shoes and if you haven't heard about them before you can read all about the foot health benefits and science behind them here.

I first heard about barefoot shoes when I wrote a post about how confusing it is buying little ones first shoes these days. It led to us buying a pair for Rosie's first shoes.

Not only are they better for children's feet, they are no more expensive than traditional shoes companies and they come in a variety of bright and funky colours and styles. The girls love them and cant wait to get them on. They look comfortable, are very soft and are much lighter than traditional shoes. They really do feel like the next best thing to bare feet.

We love them and can't wait to see what they bring out for the new Spring/Summer range.

Barefoot Shoes - The Next Best Thing To Bare Feet

We all know that barefoot is best but at 15 months old with the Winter drawing in, Rosie needed a pair of shoes.

Bombarded with information on what we should and shouldn't buy I wrote a post. Following that and a bit more research, I found the perfect pair:

These are barefoot shoes by Livie and Luca and came from Happy Little Soles, a fantastic little company that have been amazingly helpful.

Rosie loves them. She couldn't wait to put them on and happily prances around in them. In fact she couldn't wait to get them on again today to go out and play.

I am really happy that Rosie has a gorgeous pair of shoes and even happier that are the next best thing to her having bare feet!
