Funny Friday

I blogged yesterday about Poppy and her letter to Father Christmas.

Well this week she has been on her first ever School trip and met Father Christmas himself. She enjoyed a wonderful day and was very excited to come home with a little pressent.

She opened her pressie and smiled happily playing with the little pony and stickers she had received.

I asked her if she liked it and she said very politely "It is very lovely Mummy" but then she looked a little worried and puzzled and added...." but its not what what I asked for".

I had to try very hard not to laugh and explained that we had only sent the letter a few days ago so he might not have it yet. This is just an extra little present.

Much happier she smiled, relaxed and carried on playing.

She does make me laugh every day and comes out with some very funny things. This is a great way to record them all so I don't forget.  If you want to join in or just check out more entries, then click on the link below:

Funny Friday

After two weeks of looking at baby photos of my new Nephew and seeing him on Skpe I had a very funny conversation with Poppy I just had to share with you all.

Poppy -  "I've been talking to Daddy and I've told him I would like us to plant a seed in your tummy so we can have another baby"

Me - "oh okay" (dreading what was coming next), "do you know where we can get a seed from?"

Poppy - "umm no....Sainsburys?"

Hee hee, their innocence really does make me giggle. I had to try very hard to keep a straight face.

Funny Friday

Children say and do the funniest things which is why I love joining in with Mummy Mummy Mum and her fantastic link-up Funny Friday:

This week Poppy has said and done a few funny things but this one really made me chuckle so I wanted to record it.

We were all sat on the sofa having a chat when Poppy announced "just going for a wee, back in a minute" and off she went.

A few minutes later all was quiet and no sign of Poppy

Daddy shouts "Poppy are you all right, what are you doing?"

Poppy shouts back "I'm okay Daddy Just pulling up my knickers"

Then she runs back in the living room whilst trying to pull up her knickers and says:

"These pretty knickers Daddy, want to see?"

Hee hee, only a 3 year old would do that!

Check out Funny Friday yourself for more entries to make you smile or even laugh out loud.

My Late Entry for Funny Friday

My little girls make me smile all the time but tonight at bath time I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

The girls had had a long bath and the water was getting quite cool.  I told Poppy she needed to get out first and she did the whole stalling thing "I want to play" "Let Rosie go first" etc etc.

Then I said "Whose the boss Poppy?" and she said "me". We did the whole "Mummy is the boss thing and its time to get out now. Then I turned to Rosie and said "whose the boss Rosie" and she said............

........"Mummy"  aaahh what a cutie. I wasn't expecting it but it did make me chuckle.  In fact we all had a giggle and then Poppy got out no problem.

I love my little girls.

I am linking this in with MummyMummyMum's Funny Friday even though its Saturday.
