93/366 - Loving The Hair Salon

Aaahhh Poppy had her hair cut today and was so grown up. She loves going to have it done but today she was particularly good. She enjoyed having it washed, politely accepted and drank some orange juice, told the lady she wanted two inches off and sat lovely whilst it was being done. I was really proud of her!

In the end she had three inches off and it looks really good.

Pretty Hair With A Bit Of Flair Review & Giveaway

As you may already know I love everything girly especially hair bows and ribbons for my little girls. Therefore I was delighted to be approached by Kraft Work Boutique to trial and review some of their new hair accessories. I didn't really know what to expect but was thrilled to open up the package to find this:

There was a mix of colours, size and patterns to go with a variety of outfits. All of which are gorgeous.  In fact our bow holder is getting quite full now so the little tub they came in would be handy to keep some of the clips in too.

Poppy's favourites are these clips.  She thinks they are fantastic:

She also loves this hair bow and couldn't wait to get it in and model it for me.  As soon as it was unwrapped it was in her hair:

Kraft Work Boutique is run by a mummy that loves to make. She sells beautiful hand make tutus, cheeky looking sock monkeys and gorgeous wooden plaques. as well as the hair accessories. All of the items can be personalised and are made as special as can be. They are available to purchase online through KiddieBase and through facebook. There will also be a website available shortly.

Hair bows and bespoke bows can even be made to match outfits for special occasions.  The sets of clips in a kitty style are available at £4 per set and the big sis/lil sis are available at £3.50 per set. Larger bows are priced at £4 and mini bows at £3.  Quite reasonable I think!

We love them and will be visiting for more.  We give them a huge 9/10.

If you fancy some hair accessories for your little one then Kraft Work Boutique are giving one lucky person the chance to receive a bundle of goodies for themselves (worth a minimum of £20).

Fabulous Giveaway with Poppy Sparkles

I have treated myself and my girls this week to a little pressie from one of my favourite bloggers and her online shop, Viv at Poppy Sparkles.  If you haven't heard of her before she sells beautiful things, all girly and sparkly including Handcrafted jewellery using quality materials, like Swarovski crystal, Freshwater pearls and sterling silver. She also sells gorgeous flower corsages which you can have made into either broaches or hair accessories.

I ordered a pink poka dot flower hair clip for my little girls, which she kindly put onto an alligator clip for them. The treat for me was this gorgeous Spotalicious Necklace in hot pink.  Its currently in the sale for £18.20 and I love it:

Both are absolutely gorgeous and came beautifully wrapped which made me feel very special.  The hair clip came wrapped in hot pink tissue paper and the necklace came in one of her brand new boxes. I was apparently one of the first to receive one of these. They are white with the logo on and tied with a think pink ribbon, very simple but perfect! I will definitely be going back for more.

Hair accessories are sold in singles for £5.50 or pairs for £10 and are available in a variety of clours including custom or School colours too. So your little one can still look pretty without breaking school uniform policy.

I was so thrilled with my goodies I have organised a giveaway on my page. One of you lucky readers will have the chance to win this fantastic prize:

Three hand-sewn Ribbon Flower corsages from Poppy Sparkles as a brooch, hair tie, hair clip or hair grip and your choice of colours from those in stock (choose a matching set or all different, it's up to you!).  Perhaps one for mummy and a treat for your little girl?
A sample of some to choose from

I am so excited because this week I won a competition...yes me.  I never win anything so I am extra happy! Anyway the competition was over at Poppy Sparkles to win over £50s worth's of gorgeous girly goodies from Strawberry Annies, the home of tulle, net and ribbon. Well anybody that knows me and my blog will know that this is right up my street.  My little girls always wear tutus and hair bows so I was particularly excited about this one.

So what did I win?
it was: A gorgeous Frou Frou Tutu, custom made in my choice of colours.  I picked light pink, fuchsia and bright pink. ~ A Tutu Tiara to match the tutu ~ Bejewelled Rose Hair Clip ~ Boutique Hair Bow in Red Polka Dot ~ Medium Pinwheel Hair Bow in Pink Heart Ribbon ~ Toddler Hairbow With Double Ruffle Bow ~ Ribbon covered Headband choice of ribbon.

Anyway, the goodies arrived yesterday and we were very excited. They came in cake boxes and looked good enough to eat!  Here are some photos I wanted to share with you:

The black flower on the frou frou is also a clip or hair bobble which means we can change it whenever we want to make it look really different. We can even swap it for a big pink bow if we want to! This was Poppy getting ready for and at Ballet this morning.  She received lots of compliments on her new tutu:

So there you go, proof that you can win competitions! Don't forget to check out both Poppy Sparkles and Strawberry Annies they are both favorites of mine now!

I love girls and hair bows!

This is in no way a sponsored post. I just love my little girls to look pretty and girly in pink dresses and hair bows and I wanted to share my excitement with you! I was thrilled to bits today when I received our latest order of hair bows from my favorite online shop The Bow Company.  I got excited as soon as I saw the pink envelope I now know and recognise to be from them.  This is what we received:

Lots of bows and clips

We have quite a few hair bows  now.  Recently we purchased a bow holder from the same Company to hang them up and keep them them all on.  Its great and means they don't get lost or ruined.  We also brought one as a present for a friends little girls who also love their bows and ribbons.

Ice pink bow holder

We call the bows our "Finishing Touch" (pinched from the friend mentioned above!).  Poppy likes to pick which one to wear and her favorite is the one with strawberries on it!

Rosie with a teeny weeny bow

Poppy with a big one
I love everything about having little girls especially the clothes, the pink and the hair bows and just wanted to share this with you.

The Gallery - Hair

This is the first time I have participated in the gallery but I think its a brilliant idea and will be participating regularly.

This weeks Gallery is all about hair. I love having two girls. My oldest one has lovely long hair which is always up in bunches and plaits with ribbons and bows.

The picture I have chosen though is one of my little one. She is only 9 months old but look how much hair she has already. I have already started to put a little clip in the front. At this rate it won't be long before hers in bunches too.

To check out other entries, head over to sticky fingers
