Pink Lining - Gorgeous Mummy Bags and More

I am a huge fan of Pink Lining and have been very fortunate to work with them on this blog.

When I was first pregnant with Poppy I wanted a Pink Lining Yummy Mummy bag but couldn't justify the cost.  I had given up my job to move abroad with my Husband so didn't feel I could splash out on myself. Instead I brought a bag I was pretty happy with, that was a little cheaper. However, I told myself next time I would treat myself.

When I was pregnant with Rosie, the bag I had was still in such good condition I didn't bother to buy a new one, spending the money on pretty dresses for my little girl instead. However, I did treat myself to a new Mum on the Run bag:

I loved it and it was well used. Basically it was a changing mat with two large pockets for a few nappies, a packet of wipes and  a small zipped pocket at the back for your phone and some money. It was well padded and comfortable, practical and looked pretty. The only draw back on this old design was that it could not attach to the pram. It wasn't a huge problem though, I used to stick it at the bottom of the pram but the newer ones are able to do this now.

When Poppy started Nursery one day a week I treated her to a little Pink Lining Kids rucksack. It is very sweet and still used now. Perfect for when we go out and she only needs a few things:

Last year I finally got a bag for myself when I was offered the opportunity to review one. I was thrilled and it proved to be everything I thought it would.

You can read my review here but I cannot recommend them enough. Every Mummy deserves one of these beautiful Yummy Mummy Bags!

Later in the year I helped Pink Lining promote their new range and advertise their sample sale. I was very disappointed I lived so far away so wouldn't be able to get there myself but Pink Lining kindly sent me this gorgeous wallets to cheer me up:

It was a lovely surprise and I was very grateful.

So if you yourself are pregnant or have little ones then don't forget to check them out. They have some gorgeous new new designs including twin bags and bags for when you have toddlers rather than babies.  They also have some fantastic bargains in their sale, but you need to be quick as they are going fast.

Thank you Pink Lining and I am looking forward to continuing to work with you this year.

Sneak Preview Of The Pink Lining Spring/ Summer 2012 Collection

All Mummy's deserve a Pink Lining bag to make them feel yummy! I myself am a total fan of Pink Lining and their very gorgeous bags. I have had my Yummy Mummy bag for a while now and am still as in love with it as I was when I wrote this.

Pink Lining are going to be announcing their new collection next week but I am very excited to be able to offer you a sneak preview here first.

These bags really are the best. They are very practical as well as stylish and come in a variety of styles and materials. I want to share with you today some of the new designs and fabrics they are introducing. They are going to be popular so you might want to pre order.

First, for all of you whom now have toddlers rather than babies, Pink Lining are going to introduce the new Mini Yummy Mummy:

Birds and Bows

Just because you no longer have a baby doesn't mean you are ready to go back to a tiny handbag yet! There is still far to much to carry around with you. This bag is perfect. Smaller than the others, it has a changing mat that fits in the back, enough room for nappies, snacks, toys and other essentials and very importantly a front zip pocket for Mummy things such as keys, phone and wallet. Fantastic!

The next one is the very gorgeous twins bag. This is soo gorgeous its making me want twins (Well almost)!

Dragon Fly

Designed to be extra spacious, it has four bottle pockets instead of two and extra nappy pockets as well.  It also has other clever space saving improvements like the changing matt fits in the back zip pocket to save room in the main section of the bag and there is a divider in the middle of the bag that separates the bag into two sections. Perfect for two! The front zip pocket is larger than usual too, so you really should be able to fit everything you need in this one.

Finally is the very lovely Poppins Bag:

Pink Butterflies

This is the same as the Dancing on Air bag from this Season. The only change is the front canvass pocket material is the new wipe clean fabric which all new bags are made of.

I am loving the new pink butterflies fabric too, it is so pretty and girly and very me!

So just when I thought I was still in love with my bag, Pink Lining introduce new fabrics and designs to make me think I need another.

If you yourself want to get your hands on a gorgeous bag for yourself or a friend then you might be interested to know that Pink Lining will be holding a huge Sample Sale! Yes you read that right a sample Sale where hundreds of bags will be on offer!

The sale will be taking place December 2nd and 3rd. It will be held at the Pink Lining Headquarters 13 Bramley Rd, The Phoenix Brewery, London, W10 6SP.  I so wish I lived  nearer!

Happy Shopping

I have A New Yummy Mummy Bag and Its Gorgeous x

Each Saturday I let you know about a beauty, fashion or fitness product that I have trialled and believe will help make us Mummy's feel a little bit yummy.

This week I am feeling like one lucky lady, as I have been sent a gorgeous new Pink Lining Yummy Mummy Bag to trial and review...spoilt or what?

With a 1 year old and a 3 year old, I have been carrying a Mum bag for three years now.  Long gone are the days when I can grab an itsy bitsy teenie weenie bag that matches my outfit, along with my mobile, keys and switch card.... no, nowadays I need a tardis for all the paraphernalia children require.

I did consider a pink lining one first time round but eventually settled on one that was slightly cheaper (silly me). It has done well but the zip has recently been playing up and it was time for a new one. This one arrived just in time.

Even the way your parcel is wrapped in delicate pink tissue paper and tied with ribbon before being carefully placed inside the huge white box with Pink Lining on the front, makes you feel special:

Beautifully gift wrapped: fit for a Princess

I have the been sent the Yummy Mummy Grey Doves Laminate which is from the Spring/Summer 2011 range and costs £75:

As you can see it is absolutely gorgeous.  It is a very pale apple green colour with grey doves, red hearts and daisy print. Really pretty and girly. It even has tiny little bows on the elasticated side pockets... adorable. Then of course is the inside, my favourite bit. The shocking pink wipe clean, signature lining:

Truly gorgeous! It also comes with the standard cupcake folded padded changing mat and zip wet bag which are very cute too:

Not only does this really pretty bag make me feel like a yummy mummy, it is also very practical. It has plenty of room for everything I need, in fact it is the most organised bag I have ever had. This bag is going to change my life!

Inside there are pockets for wipes and nappies, 2 insulated pockets for bottles, a zip up bit for my purse, room for my hand gel and all sorts. On the outside are also two elasticated side pockets which are great for sippy cups (or bottles) and a front canvass pocket which is where I keep my lipgloss. I love that it also has a key ring on a long ribbon which means I will never lose my keys again and a detachable mirror (another signature feature).

This Mummy definitely feels much more yummy with this on my arm and would recommend them to everyone.  So what are you waiting for, go on  treat yourself!
