We were recently asked to review a range of Jungle Junction toys by Flair.
Now I had never heard of this particular Children's programme before, but as soon as I opened the package Poppy knew exactly who they were. We don't have the Disney Junior Channel here so I can only imagine she has seen it at her Nanny and Gramps house. Anyway she was thrilled to find all of these inside:
We were sent The Wheel Around Fun Set ( £9.99), this includes a playmat with signs and three wheel around characters:
Aimed at children 3+ they can wheel Ellyvan, Bungo and Zooter around until their hearts content.
Although Rosie is only 20 months she quite enjoyed this too. The mat itself is made out of cardboard so i'm not sure how long it will last but all the pieces look well made and are bright and colourful. They also really do look like the characters on the show so are easily identified.
Both girls took to this immediately and its their latest favourite toy.
Also included was a Pull Back Ellyvan Character ( £6.99) which has a moveable trunk and doors that open at the back. Aimed at 12M+ he is a good size and perfect for little hands:
We have carpets in the living room so Poppy quickly discovered it was more fun to take it into the kitchen and has spent hours playing with it. Rosie loves to open the doors and fill it with the signs and anything else that will fit!
There was also plush pig...Zooter ( £9.99) which has working wheels to roll about on. Aimed at children 12+ he is very soft:
Both girls loved him straight away. I am not sure what it is about pigs but they seem to go down really well with children. He has been rolled everywhere and cuddled lots too. He is lovely and soft, perfect for cuddles and I think I can safely say this was their favourite item and the one they will be fighting over.
Finally, we were also sent one of the bathtime toys available for children 12M+ ( £3.99):
This one is Hippobus and again he is bright and colourful, wheels along the side of the bath and is great for squirting water at each other too. Perfect for bathtime fun.
Don't just take my word for it though check out these pictures of the girls enjoying playing with their new toys:
I think you can see they have gone down well in this house.
All in all a lovely set of toys based on gorgeous characters. They are well made, bright and colourful and look just like their characters on TV. These toys will bring hours of fun to your little ones.
To get your hands on some of your own they are available from a range of stores including Argos, Amazon and Smyths.
