Reasons To Be Cheerful

Reasons to be Cheerful at Mummy from the Heart

I really don't know where this week has gone, but once again its time for our reasons to be cheerful.

After a  particularly stressful week which involved my car breaking down on a busy Motrway ( you can read about it here), my eldest nearly choking (see here), my daughters both being poorly which meant lack of sleep for all of us and Husband not getting back on Friday after being away for 5 weeks, I need to remind myself why I should be cheerful.

So here goes:

1. Providing his ship doesn't break down again, my gorgeous Husband might get back Saturday for a few days. I don't want to get too excited as it has broken down several times but I am definitely feeling  a bit more cheerful. Its been a long five weeks and still another five to go before he gets to stay home.

2. Although my car broke down, we are all alive and well. It could have been so much worse as the clutch went whilst I was doing 65 mph on the motorway. It could have caused a massive crash.  Not only are we all alive but it also meant I had to spend a few extra days at my parents house.  This was a lovely bonus as my Sister and Nephew were both there too. We all enjoyed the extra few days together even if I was too skint to go shopping (car cost a fortune to fix).

3.  My little girls have been quite poorly but are on the mend now.  I was pretty worried at the start of the week, especially for Rosie. She didn't sleep for two nights but they are both definitely getting better now.

4. My Sister is going to have her baby very soon. She is due in 3 weeks but is quite certain he will be here earlier. She feels ready to pop! I am very excited at being an Auntie again and can't wait to meet him. It also means she can hopefully start to feel better after a pretty horrific pregnancy

Hope you have all had a good week and looking forward to reading your reasons too.
