Being over 24 weeks pregnant I am going to have a chocolate Easter egg this year - after all its not as if I'm calorie counting and I'm worried about my tummy sticking out! However, if you want to treat someone to a little gift (or a big one) that's calorie free then I have just the thing.
The Easter range from Lush has some fabulous products on offer and I have been lucky enough to get to try some of them out. A huge Lush fan, I cant think of a better way to relax this Easter than with a gorgeous relaxing bath once my girls are in bed.
I was lucky enough to receive these gorgeous goodies to try:
.
My favourite had to be the fluffy egg which was wrapped in this very cute chick wrap knot. A great alternative to wrapping paper it made my bath bomb look Seasonal and a bit special. As soon as I opened it I was impressed. The fluffy egg is a good size and smells delicious.
Once I dropped it into my bath the water changed to a bright pink colour and the smell was out of this world. Very girly and sweet, a bit like candy floss. I settled back and enjoyed my hot pink bath. Once I got out, I noticed my skin was soft and smooth and the scent lingered all over me. I smelt good enough to eat! Definitely a good one if you have a hot date planned this weekend!
The Carrot Reusable Bubble Bar was nice but not my favourite product. A fan of the bubble bars I was keen to try this one out. It smells gorgeous, a mix of vanilla, blackcurrant and lemon. Very fruity and tropical, reminding me of Summer Holidays. You swish the carrot around the bath a few times and it fills with lots of lovely bubbles.
However, rather than turning a bright orange colour, my bath water was a very pale, almost cloudy colour instead. I also found the smell kind of disintegrated a bit once the bath was full. Although a lovely scent at first, its not quite strong enough and definitely doesn't linger like the fluffy egg did. Overall a nice product, but for me not quite strong enough!
Lush do have a range of other goodies to try out and best of all there are no calories in them.

Feeling Pampered On Mothers Day With Lush Products
At 22 weeks pregnant I have been starting to feel a little tired and achy lately so was thrilled when Husband and the girls presented me with this gorgeous range of goodies from Lush for mothers Day:
I couldn't wait to get the girls in bed so I could fill a bath with relaxing bubbles (I know you don't need these but it was extra treat) and picked the gorgeous honey bee bath bomb. It smelt delicious!
I then coated my hair in my Marilyn Hair Treatment which I was recently sent to review. This is a gorgeous hair treatment designed for blonde or highlighted hair. You literally cover you hair in it whilst dry, pile it up and sit back for at least 20 minutes....bliss!
Marilyn is my new favourite hair product. It goes on easily and smells divine. It has a gorgeous citrus scent and leaves my hair feeling oh so soft. The colour is also refreshed and revitalised. I love it!
I have quite long highlighted hair, past my shoulders and in need of having it coloured again. I find this brings it back to life a bit meaning I can put off having it coloured for a few more weeks.
I coat it on quite generously. I think I will probably get about 4 uses out of the tub, which makes it reasonably priced, definitely worth a try.
I am now smelling gorgeous, my skin feels soft and smooth, my hair feels silky. I am relaxed and pampered and am ready for bed.
Hope you have all enjoyed your Mothers Day too and feel as pampered as me.
Night.

Lush Bath Ballistics - Scary Or Yummy?
I was thrilled to arrive home today to a new bath ballistic sent to me by the lovely people at lush. This is a new one to celebrate Halloween and is called Skullduggery.
My regular readers will know that I am a huge fan of lush products so having been up last night with a teething baby, I couldn't wait to get in the bath tonight to test it out.
I must admit, if I had seen this in the shop I probably would have not picked it out because it is not pink and girly looking. However, I am so glad I got to try it and would definitely pick it out now.
It smells heavenly, pretty sweet and candy like. Perfect for this girly girl! The smell lingers on your skin long after you get out of the bath whilst leaving it feeling silky smooth to the touch....perfect!
I love Lush products and would recommend them to all Mummy's who want to feel a bit yummier. Once the little ones are in bed fill yourself a bath, drop in a bath ballistic and relax.....lovely. A great way to settle back and recharge the batteries.
There is nothing scary about the price either. At only £2.75 its a little treat that wont cost the earth.
Other products in the range include :
The soap in particular looks gorgeous and I can't wait to try it.
So there you go, more great products which will make us Mummy's feel a little bit yummier!
