Boudoir Privé Might Help Make Me Yummy
I have been pretty busy on the hunt for all those lotions and potions, fitness and fashion accessories or products that are going to make us Mummy's that little bit yummier. Each Saturday I write a post telling you about something I believe works and invite you all to join in with my "Make Me Yummy" blog hop sharing your favourite tips and products.
This weeks post is going to be slightly different though, as my search led me to become one of the lucky few fortunate enough to receive the first pink limited edition box from Boudoir Privé. In case you have not heard of them before, they are a Members only club where if you subscribe you will receive a goody box each month full of 4-6 deluxe sized luxury samples delivered to your front door. Perfect for this Mummy who would like to be that little bit yummier!
I have been anxiously waiting for my first box to arrive and it finally came today. Here it is:
Inside my goodies were wrapped in delicate black tissue paper, tied with a delicate pink bow and a handwritten note saying they hope you enjoy your products.

I can't wait to try them all out and will let you know how I get on but I have a feeling these products are going to leave me feeling pampered and special and maybe a little bit yummier.

Good Friends and Sunny Days
I have been neglecting my blog a bit for the past few days because we have had friends to stay and have been having too much fun.
Coming down to the South Coast of Devon, they feel like they have been away on holiday and we feel as though ours has finally started. We have really enjoyed showing them the local areas and it has reminded us how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the country. We have been to several beaches, enjoyed too much wine and food and the children have enjoyed all playing together. Definitely a successful break for all of us.
Rather than bore you with all the details I thought I would show you some photos:
As you can see we have had great fun.
Fiona also wants to start blogging after seeing how much enjoyment I am getting out of it. I had great fun giving her advice and helping her out with a few things. I will let you know the link once its up and running!

Good Friends, Cookies and Coconuts
We have our very good friends and their two girls are coming today and are all very excited. In order to kill time before they get here we have been very busy.
First Poppy and I made some delicious cookies:
We hope they will like them as much as we do (of course we had to test them to make sure they were up to standard).
Next we decided to crack open a coconut we won the other evening at our Summer Ball. You can read that post here if you missed it!
Maybe not ideal for a one year old but she had fun, in fact all of us did.
We used to live opposite Steve and Fiona when we lived in Canada a few years ago. Both Fiona and I were pregnant at the same time too which brought us even closer and our little girls Poppy and Jessica were born 6 weeks apart. We miss having them as neighbours and do wish we lived closer but do chat on the phone and keep in touch. They are going to be staying a few nights so it will be lovely.
I will let you know what we all get up to.

MUMenTum - Week 14
Hi ladies,
Well frustratingly for the past two weeks I have stopped losing weight and seem to have reached a plateau, even though I have still have more to lose. I have been using my slimpods every night but have not been exercising due to being away and having visitors etc.
I have realised that I need to exercise to stay this size.
I know I am not obese or anything! I am a comfortable UK12. Actually some of them are in fact lose and I can fit into some smalls or 10's but I would not say I am a size 10 yet. I am also heavier than I would like to be! The thing is I would like to be a bit smaller having come this far and definitely don't want to get bigger again.
Despite wanting to lose a bit more, I am actually feeling good about myself at the moment. Just in case you haven't seen these photos yet, this was me at the weekend:

This week I have visitors but once they are gone I am going to go back to exercising 3-6 times per week. I am also going to be speaking to the lovely Sasha at Thinking Slimmer for a bit of advice. I will of course continue to drink plenty of water and fruit tea too (although a little wine might be consumed this week too...sorry)!
Hope you are all doing better than me.
Oh and where has the gorgeous sun gone? I haven't had my little white shorts on yet!

Make Me Yummy Blog Hop
Hello again ladies,
Usually I post this on a Saturday but due to a very busy weekend I have not had the time. So here I am on a Sunday to tell you all about my latest must have product. This one has not been sent to me to trial (unfortunately) but it is one I use and love.
This time I give you my must have product for your hair:
TIGI S Factor Diamond Dreams Shampoo and conditioner
Infused with Diamonds, Cashmere, Champagne and Pearls this smells absolutely gorgeous. It will also make your hair feel beautiful, adding shine, hydration and strength. I love it! It makes me want to that swishy thing!
It is available from most Salons and on-line too. At the moment this duo is available for £18 from Amazon. Not the cheapest shampoo and conditioner in the world but a real treat for Mummy. I think I deserve it!!
