A walk in the sunshine

Yesterday afternoon was a gorgeous sunny day so Husband and I took the girls out for a long walk and a bit of fresh air.  Rosie has been teething so has been incredibly grumpy and Poppy needed to burn off some energy.

Luckily for us there was a music festival going on nearby. This meant there was lots going on and a good atmosphere around the place.  We stood and listened to the music for a while and Poppy enjoyed dancing outside (don't have any photos of this though...whoops!).  Then we sat in the park and relaxed in the sunshine with a drink and snack.

It was nice to get a bit of time with the Husband as he had to work on Saturday.

Relaxed and happy

The girls enjoyed an ice cream with Daddy whilst Mummy looked on eagerly but resisted!!

"What do I do with this Sister?"

It was Rosie's first ice cream.  She enjoyed it immensely and it disappeared very quickly.

Then we had a little ride on a ferry.  The sea was gorgeous and blue and it was as pretty as a picture.

All in all it was a lovely afternoon.  Poppy had great fun running around and tired herself out completely, Rosie had a nice snooze in her pram and was much happier with the change of scenery when she was awake and Husband and I got to spend some quality family time together.  Perfect.

Looking forward to lots more sunny days together.

  3. Hi, just found your blog through Mummy Bloggers. Your pink life is the polar opposite of mine, as a mum of four boys! I love your pink blog though, and am looking forward to reading more!
